About Me

From the very start of my career, I’ve been captivated by the dynamic relationship between humans and intelligent machines—an inspiration that first took hold watching Star Wars and dreaming about the cleverness of droids like R2-D2 and C-3PO. That early fascination fueled my journey into reinforcement learning, robotics, and secure computing, where I’ve spent over a decade not just mastering complex algorithms but embedding them into real-world systems that deliver measurable impact.
I thrive on the challenges of building resilient AI infrastructure that can scale and adapt in demanding production environments. Whether I’m fine-tuning reinforcement learning models, architecting microservices for autonomous robotics, or designing agentic AI systems, I approach every problem with a blend of creativity and technical rigor born from hands-on experience.
Outside of work, my passions for amateur radio, chess, judo, and Brazilian jiu-jitsu—the “chess of the body”—keep me sharp and disciplined. These pursuits reinforce a strategic mindset and adaptability, emphasizing continuous learning and thoughtful execution—qualities I bring into my leadership, mentorship, and engineering.
I’m driven by the belief that the best technology bridges theory and practice, pushing the boundaries of what machines can do while enhancing human potential. For me, AI isn’t just about training models; it’s about building lasting systems that learn, evolve, and make a real difference—just like the droids that inspired me as a kid.
